Clip a YouTube video

Paste a link. Get clips back.

  1. 01

    Paste a link

A YouTube video up to 60 minutes, or any part of a longer one. You see the cost in credits before anything starts.

  2. 02

    We find the moments

The speech is transcribed and candidate moments are scored. Anything that fails the checks is dropped, so you get fewer, better clips.

  3. 03

    Download finished clips

Every clip comes captioned, titled and with the reason it was picked. Preview it in the browser, then download the MP4.

Edit your own video Beta

Upload it. Say how. Get it edited.

Upload a raw recording and tell it what you want in plain words, or pick a few quick options. It plans the edit, renders it, and shows you the result. Want something different? Ask for the change and it renders again.

  • Cleanup. Long pauses and repeated takes are cut out.
  • Captions. Word by word, in white with one accent color. Hindi and Hinglish speech is captioned in Roman script.
  • Layouts. 9:16 for Shorts and Reels, or 1:1 with numbered slides on top and you below.
  • B-roll and graphics. Licensed stock footage and simple slides where they help the point.
  • Asks first. When it can't tell which format or style you want, it asks before it renders.

LimitsFiles up to 2 GB and 60 minutes. Videos under a minute belong here rather than in Clip.

Live clipping Beta

Clip the stream while it's still live.

Don't wait for the VOD. FluidCut records the stream in three-minute segments and clips each one as soon as it's recorded. Clips land in your workspace while the stream keeps going.

  • YouTube Live, Twitch and Kick. Paste the channel or the live link.
  • Limited slots. During the beta up to 2 streams are captured at once. When the slots are full, your stream waits in a queue.
  • Stop any time. Segments already recorded still get clipped.
  • 2 credits per minute captured, after a 5 minute free trial.

Field test, 4 Oct 202620 minutes of capture from a live news broadcast produced 2 finished clips, delivered while the stream was still running.

Create your own style Beta

Teach it the look you want.

Point it at a few public videos with a look you like, or upload your own examples. It studies the captions, pacing and layout and saves them as a style. Then use your style when you clip or edit.

  • Private. Your styles are visible only to your account.
  • Yours to use. Apply a style to your own videos. It copies a look, never someone else's content.

What you get

Finished videos, not a project file.

The best moments, with reasons

Each clip comes with a title and a short note on why it was picked, so you can decide what goes out in seconds.

Hindi and Hinglish captions

Hindi and Hinglish speech gets captions in Roman script, the way people actually type it.

Standard MP4 files

Clips render in 16:9. Edits come back in 9:16 or 1:1. Every file plays anywhere.

Up to 5 clips per video

Only moments that pass the checks get rendered. No padding, no filler.

Private, then deleted

Projects are visible only to your account. Source video is deleted within hours, clips after 48 hours.

FAQ

Straight answers.

What can I paste or upload?

For clips, a single YouTube video up to 60 minutes, or a part of up to 60 minutes from a longer one (not a playlist). For an edit, upload a video file up to 2 GB and 60 minutes long. For live clipping, a channel or live link on YouTube, Twitch or Kick.

Which should I use, Clip or Edit?

Clip finds the best short moments in a long video, so it needs a video of at least a minute. Edit turns one recording, short or long, into a finished video the way you describe it.

Do captions work for Hindi and Hinglish?

Yes. Hindi and Hinglish speech is captioned in Roman script (Hinglish), the way most people type it, not in Devanagari.

How does live clipping work?

The stream is recorded in three-minute segments, and each finished segment is transcribed and clipped while the next one records. Live is in beta with limited slots: up to 2 streams are captured at once, and new sessions may wait in a queue until a slot frees up. It costs 2 credits per minute captured after a 5 minute free trial.

How long does processing take?

It depends on the length of the video and how busy the queue is. Everything runs on one machine that processes one job at a time, so expect minutes, not seconds. Your workspace shows your place in the queue and a rough wait time.

How do credits work?

One credit is one minute of video for clipping. Editing costs 3 credits per minute for each format plus 1 for planning, and live costs 2 per minute captured. You see the cost before every job. Every account gets 60 free credits a month, and paid plans add more.

What if a job fails or finds nothing?

The credits go back to your balance automatically. A video without a strong moment returns no clips instead of filler, and you aren't charged for it.

What happens to my videos?

Projects are private to your account. Source videos and uploads are deleted within hours of processing, and clips and edits are deleted after 48 hours, so download what you want to keep. Details are in the privacy policy.
