Feature

AI video clipping that finds the moments worth posting.

FluidCut's AI video clipper reads the full transcript of a long video, scores candidate moments and returns up to 5 short clips that open cleanly, make one complete point and end on the payoff. Each clip comes captioned, titled and with a one-line reason it was picked.

How it works

  1. Paste a link or upload a file. A YouTube video or an MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM or M4V file up to 2 GB. Videos up to 60 minutes are clipped whole; for longer videos you pick a part of up to 60 minutes.
  2. Pick the output. Choose 9:16, 16:9, square or Auto, a caption style, whether to add B-roll, and a clip length: Auto, 15 to 30 seconds or 30 to 60 seconds. The cost in credits is shown before anything starts.
  3. FluidCut transcribes and scores. Candidate moments are checked for a clear opening, a complete thought and a strong ending. Moments that fail the checks are dropped, so a weak video returns fewer clips instead of filler.
  4. Review and download. Preview each clip in the browser, read why it was picked, adjust it in the editor if you want, and download the MP4.

What you get with every clip

Fewer, better clips

Many clipping tools return as many clips as they can. FluidCut renders only moments that pass its checks, up to 5 per video. If a video has no strong moment, you get no clips and the credits go back to your balance automatically.

Cost

Clipping costs 1 credit per minute of source video. A 30 minute episode costs 30 credits. See pricing for plans.

Questions

How many clips do I get from one video?

Up to 5. FluidCut only renders moments that pass its quality checks, so some videos return fewer.

How long can the source video be?

Up to 60 minutes per job. For a longer video, you choose a part of up to 60 minutes to clip. Each job needs at least a minute of video; for shorter videos use Edit instead.

Can I clip a video that is not on YouTube?

Yes. Upload the file directly. MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM and M4V files up to 2 GB are supported.

What happens if a clip is not what I wanted?

Open it in the editor to change the cut, captions, title or B-roll, then download it again. If a job fails or finds no clips, the credits are returned.
