Terms of service

These terms cover your use of FluidCut. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. Who we are

FluidCut is operated by Cyphen Innovations Private Limited, Patna, Bihar, India ("we", "us"). You can reach us at [email protected].

2. The service

FluidCut turns long videos and live streams into short clips, edits videos you upload based on your instructions, and lets you save your own editing styles. Results are produced by automated software, including speech recognition and AI models. They can contain mistakes, so review every clip and edit before you publish it.

The service is in public beta. Features can change, and it can be slow or unavailable at times. Processing runs on limited capacity, so jobs can wait in a queue, and live clipping has a limited number of slots.

3. Your account

• Give a working email address and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One account per person. Don't create extra accounts to get more free credits.
• You must be old enough to form a contract where you live, or have a parent's or guardian's permission.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to the videos, links and instructions you give us and to the clips and edits we make from them. You give us permission to store, copy, transcribe, analyse and edit that content only as needed to run the service for you, including sending it to the processors listed in our privacy policy.

You must own the content you submit or have permission to use it, including permission to publish the clips and edits we make. See the acceptable use policy.

5. Credits and payment

• Jobs cost credits. One credit covers one minute of source video for clipping. Editing and live capture use the rates shown on the pricing section. We show the cost before a job starts.
• Free accounts get free credits each month. Free credits have no cash value and don't build up from month to month.
• Paid plans renew every month until you cancel. Cancelling stops future renewals. Credits you have already received stay on your account.
• Credits you buy or receive from a plan don't expire while your account is open. Credits can't be transferred or exchanged for money.
• Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record and handles taxes and invoices. Their terms also apply to your purchase.
• Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

6. Storage and deletion

We don't keep your media long. Source videos are deleted within 6 hours after a job finishes, and clips and edits are deleted 48 hours after they are made. Download anything you want to keep. Details are in the privacy policy.

7. Suspension and closing accounts

We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms or the acceptable use policy, puts the service or other users at risk, or doesn't pay. If we close your account without a breach on your part, we refund paid credits you haven't used. You can close your account at any time by emailing [email protected].

8. No warranty

The service is provided as it is, during a beta. To the extent the law allows, we don't promise that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that any clip or edit will perform well on any platform.

9. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Patna, Bihar have exclusive jurisdiction.
