Acceptable use

FluidCut only works if people use it on content they have the right to use. These rules apply to every link, upload, live stream, instruction and style.

Only content you have rights to

  • Submit only videos and streams you own, or that you have permission to clip, edit and republish.
  • Clipping someone else's video or stream without their permission can infringe their copyright, even if the video is public. Getting that permission is your job, not ours.
  • Only capture live streams that are yours or that you have permission to clip.

Styles

  • You can create a style from public videos or from your own examples, to learn things like caption look, pacing and layout. Your styles are private to you.
  • Use a style on your own videos. Don't use it to pass your videos off as another creator's, to copy their content, or to imitate their identity or brand.

Not allowed

  • Sexual content involving minors. We report it to the authorities and close the account.
  • Sexual or intimate content of anyone without their consent.
  • Content that harasses, threatens or incites violence against people, or promotes terrorism or violent extremism.
  • Deceptive edits that make a real person appear to say or do something they didn't, presented as real.
  • Recordings of private people made or shared without their consent where the law requires it.
  • Anything else that is illegal where you live or where we operate.

Using the service fairly

  • Don't create several accounts to collect free credits, and don't share accounts to get around limits.
  • Don't try to get around rate limits, upload limits, queues or credit checks.
  • Don't attack, scan, overload or scrape the service, and don't resell access without a written agreement with us.

What happens if rules are broken

We may remove content, stop jobs, pause or close accounts, and keep records needed to deal with abuse. Accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright are closed.

Reporting content

If you think something made with FluidCut infringes your rights, email [email protected] with a link to your original work, the content you are reporting, and how to contact you. We respond to valid notices and remove infringing material.
