Use case
Turn every podcast episode into clips.
To turn a podcast into short clips, paste the episode's YouTube link or upload the video file, pick 9:16 and a caption style, and FluidCut returns up to 5 clips of the strongest moments. Each clip is captioned, framed on whoever is speaking and comes with a title and the reason it was picked.
Why it works for podcasts
- It reads the whole conversation. Moments are picked from the full transcript, not from loudness or face movement, so a quiet but quotable answer can still make the cut.
- Clips stand on their own. Each one has to open cleanly and finish its point, so viewers who never heard the episode can follow it.
- Speaker framing. Vertical clips keep the person talking in frame.
- Long episodes. Clip a whole episode up to 60 minutes, or pick a 60 minute part of a longer one.
A typical workflow
- Publish the full episode on YouTube, or upload the recording directly.
- Start a clip job in 9:16 with captions on. A 60 minute episode costs 60 credits.
- Review the clips and their reasons, tweak captions or titles in the editor.
- Download the MP4s and post them across Shorts, TikTok and Reels during the week.
Questions
Does it work with audio-only podcasts?
FluidCut works on video. For an audio-only show, upload a video version of the episode, such as a recording with a static image.
Can I clip a podcast that is longer than an hour?
Yes. Pick a part of up to 60 minutes per job, and run another job for the next part.
Can I clip other people's podcasts?
Only if you have the rights to use and publish them. See the acceptable use policy.
