Feature
Every clip is also an editable project.
When FluidCut finishes a clip you get two things: a 1080p MP4 you can post right away, and a layered project in the editor. Captions, titles, B-roll, text, zooms and audio are separate items on the timeline, so you can change, move or delete any of them and render again without starting over.
What stays editable
| Layer | What you can change |
|---|---|
| Video | Trim, split, delete sections, punch-in zooms |
| Captions | Text, style, size, position, hide one or all |
| Text and titles | Wording, effect, colour, timing, place behind the speaker |
| B-roll | Timing, full frame or corner, speaker in front, replace or remove |
| Audio | Your music, sound effects and voiceover, volume per item |
| Format | 9:16, 16:9 or square, and the layout |
Why it matters
When captions and graphics are burned into a flat video, fixing one typo means re-exporting or starting again. In FluidCut a typo is a one-word edit on the captions layer, and a B-roll shot in the wrong place is a drag.
Edit by hand or by asking
Change layers directly on the timeline, or describe the change to the AI editor. Both edit the same project.
Questions
Do I lose the original clip when I edit?
No. You can reset a clip to its original cut, and each render is kept as a new version.
Does re-rendering cost credits?
Rendering a clip with your changes costs 3 credits per minute of clip. Switching format is free while the source video is still stored.
Can I export the project to another editor?
Not at the moment. Projects open in FluidCut's editor and download as MP4.
