Feature
An AI video editor where nothing is burned in.
FluidCut's editor is a multi-track timeline in your browser. Every clip arrives as a layered project: the video, captions, titles, B-roll, text and audio are separate items you can move, change or delete. You can edit by hand or type what you want and let the AI editor make the change.
What you can do in the editor
- Cut: split at the playhead, delete a section, undo and redo
- Captions: edit the text, style, size and position of any caption
- Text: add titles and text with effects
- B-roll: add stock footage, or upload your own video or image
- Keep the speaker in front: place B-roll behind the person on screen with a speaker cutout
- Motion: add punch-in zooms and movement
- Format: switch between 9:16, 16:9 and square, and change the layout
- Audio: add your own music and sound effects, record a voiceover, set the volume per item and lower the speech while music plays
Describe the edit instead
Open the AI editor and write the change in plain words, for example "make the captions bigger and drop the B-roll at 0:12". The edit is applied to the same timeline, so you can still adjust it by hand afterwards.
Edit your own recordings
Besides clips, you can upload a raw recording, say how you want it edited and get a finished video. FluidCut cuts long pauses and repeated takes, adds captions, and can add B-roll and simple slides. If it cannot tell what you want, it asks before it renders. Editing costs 3 credits per minute for each format, plus 1 per minute for planning.
Questions
Do I need to install anything?
No. The editor runs in your browser.
Can I change the format after a clip is made?
Yes. Switch between 9:16, 16:9 and square in the editor and download the new version. This works while the source video is still stored, which is a few hours after the job.
Does editing a clip cost credits?
Re-rendering a clip with your changes costs 3 credits per minute of clip, and requests to the AI editor use a small number of credits based on their size. The cost is shown in your credit history.
Can I export a project file for Premiere or DaVinci Resolve?
Not at the moment. Downloads are finished MP4 files.
