Can FluidCut import a Zoom webinar directly?
No. Use a saved webinar recording as a video upload or a YouTube link.
FluidCut does not join a meeting or connect to a webinar account. Export the recording from the service where it is stored, then upload an MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM or M4V file up to 2 GB. For clipping, each job processes up to 60 minutes; choose a part of a longer recording. The web clip workflow accepts a file or one YouTube video link.
How do I select webinar moments for Reels?
Use Clip to let FluidCut find candidate moments from the transcript, then review the context before posting.
Webinars contain introductions, questions, demonstrations and calls to action. A useful reel usually makes one point understandable without the full session. FluidCut ranks candidate moments and returns up to 100 clips that pass its checks, each with captions, a title and a reason for selection. A lower clip count can be a good result when the talk has only a few complete ideas.
Which framing should I choose for a webinar?
Choose vertical 9:16 for a Reel, then select a layout that fits the recording.
For a speaker against a plain background, use a vertical or pan layout and inspect the crop. For a screen demonstration with a camera feed, try a Screen + cam or two-up layout when available. Auto per scene can choose a layout from detected faces and speaker turns. Review each cut because a static edit does not track an active speaker continuously inside a single shot.
How can I keep slides readable in a vertical clip?
Review screen text at phone size and keep only the part of a slide that viewers need for the point.
A wide slide may become too small when fitted into a vertical frame. If the slide is essential, consider using a layout that gives the screen more space, or keep the clip in landscape and make a separate vertical cut for a speaker explanation. FluidCut's editor includes Fill, Fit and split layouts. The available choices depend on the source and the clip workflow.
Can I edit captions before posting?
Yes. Correct caption text in the timeline editor, then review the timing and placement.
Webinar recordings often contain speaker names, product labels and technical terms that automatic captions can mishear. Check those words first, then watch the clip with sound off to confirm the captions remain readable. Chat can adjust caption size, but font and position are set through a trained style. For more detail, see the caption guide.
How much does webinar clipping cost?
Standard clipping costs 1 credit per minute of source video, and the job estimate appears before it starts.
A 60-minute recording therefore uses 60 credits at the standard clip rate. Auto and Dynamic clip options can use different rates, so check the estimate for the selected look. Editing one webinar into a single finished video costs 3 credits per source minute for each output format plus 1 credit per minute for planning. Review FluidCut pricing before processing a long recording.
What should I do after FluidCut makes the clips?
Watch each candidate, confirm the point is complete and download only the clips you plan to use.
- Check the opening and ending so the clip does not begin mid-question or cut off the answer.
- Review the speaker crop and any visible slide text.
- Correct names, numbers and captions.
- Confirm that the webinar owner has approved public reuse.
- Download the MP4 and add platform-specific copy when you post it.
What are common questions about webinar clips?
