Feature

Dub a clip into another language.

Open a clip in the editor, pick a language and a voice, and press Dub voice. FluidCut translates what is said, voices each line where the speaker said it, and switches the captions to the new language. A Hinglish podcast clip can go out in English, and an English clip in Hindi.

How the timing works

The clip is split into sentences. Each translated sentence starts where the original one did. When a translation runs longer than the gap it has, the voice speeds up a little to fit. Every line lands on the voice track as its own piece, so you can move or delete one line without redoing the rest.

The original sound stays

While a dubbed line plays, the original audio drops to a quiet bed under it, and comes back up between lines. Music and room sound stay in the clip.

Questions

What does dubbing cost?

4 credits per minute of speech. The cost is shown before you start, and if the dub fails the credits go back to your balance.

Can I choose the voice?

Yes. Pick a male or a female voice for each dub.

Can I undo a dub?

Yes. Undo removes it in one step, and Back to the original language removes the dubbed voice and the translated captions.
